Welcome to Your Grandmother's Sewing Machine Web site! My name is McKenna Linn, and my purpose here is to showcase sewing machines from decades and centuries ago. I have no grand plan to be comprehensive, to conduct scholarly research, or even to be particularly organized here. For that, there are other sites with far more and better resources. I just want to share some of the beautiful and unusual machines that I have had the pleasure to discover, refurbish, play with, and find new homes for. Ultimately, all of my machines must move on. Sewing machines need to be used, and I can't possibly use all the ones that intrigue me enough to save. For me, the greatest pleasure is in the hunt and the fixing up.
