Elna "Lotus"

The "Lotus" is perhaps the smallest real sewing machine ever made, and with Elna's legendary quality. The name, I imagine, derives from the way the sides unfold, like lotus petals, to create a wonderfully large work surface.

Folded up, it's completely self-contained and lightweight, with a comfortable handle.

Feet and accessories are under the lid:

This particular machine has pretty much all its original goodies, including a darning foot, clear plastic foot, and an edgestitching foot. The brush, screwdriver, oiler, and seam ripper all say "Swiss Made" and the needle pack is an original Elna/Necchi package.

This machine is in near-mint condition. The cleated belt is still pure white, the parts are clean as can be... this machine has been very little used and well cared for in its life. I oiled and lubed her, and she stitches beautifully.

LotusBelt

The little plastic case for the controller is there, as is the original warranty card, stitch samples from the factory, a photocopied instruction manual, an original sewing manual, and a wonderful iconic instruction sheet that tells the whole story.
