This machine seems to me in many ways to be the predecessor of the model 130, although I think it's much prettier and more solid. Then again, as solid as the 130 is, that is probably a dubious distinction. Let me just say, this is an extremely heavy machine.

The handcrank is an original, with nice decals.

The bobbin case is on the side ("side loading") which is generally regarded as the most reliable and forgiving configuration. The BC in this machine looks like this:

Pfaff also made a model 31 that looks much like the Singer classic model 15... sometimes. They also made a model 30/31. These three models seem to vary in their features, rather like Pfaff was transitioning and mixed-and-matched pieces among these three. The bobbin case is one of the systems that can be different on the same model machines, apparently.

The bobbin winder on this model 30 is high, on the handwheel.

The faceplate and slide plate on this machine have just the tiniest bit of pitting, but it polished out nicely and the chrome shines brightly!

Stitch-length and reverse lever is on the pillar.

The upper tension assembly is much like that on the model 130.

This machine comes with an original manual, in its original plastic slip-case. SOLD.
