Singer made more sewing machines than any other manufacturer. They never "badged" their machines, i.e., they did not make them for other companies. Their model 66 and 15 were the most-produced models, and the 15 was the model most copied by other manufacturers, particularly in post-WWII Japan. They made machines in four bed sizes: the model 221, or "Featherweight," is a 1/2-size machine; the model 99, 185, and others are 3/4-size machines; the 201, 319, 15, and many others are full-size machines; and the 401, 500, etc., are even larger than the full-size beds, although they are still called full-size.
