This machine is most often seen as a treadle, with the handwheel either on the end or in front:

By switching the handwheel to the shaft on front, the machine can be taken off the treadle base and used as a tabletop "handcrank" machine:

Note that the bobbin winder can be moved from side to front, too.
This particular machine is in exceptional condition, showing very little wear and has all its little parts and pieces, including the oil reservoir complete with spring to hold the thread down:

Rather than changing the direction of the fabric, the foot on this machine moves 360 degrees, to sew in whatever direction you want without having to move the goods... pretty handy in tight spaces like the toe of a shoe.

This machine can handle pretty thick leather with ease.

When used in treadle mode, there are four possible speeds. There are two grooves in the handwheel end of the machine... and another two on the flywheel. That's four possible combinations, depending on how fast you want to sew.

Back view:

The machine is threaded with a long wire; two are included with this machine, plus 11 bobbins, two packs of size 18/110 needles, and a spool of #69 thread.

This machine has been sold.
